Commonwealth Shared Scholarship
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is a joint initiative between the Department for International Development's Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and UK universities. Its aim is to provide scholarships for high achieving students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK.
Value: The successful award winner of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship will benefit from their full tuition fees, return air fares to and from the UK and monthly stipend provided by the University and the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC).

Bath Spa University is offering one scholarship to an applicant to the following postgraduate programmes:
MA Education - International Education
Our Institute of Education is one of the UK's leading providers of teacher training and education studies. The School has research expertise in a number of areas pertinent to development including inclusion and vulnerable learners, early years education, international education and global citizenship and educational policy.
MSc Environmenal Management programme
Our College of Liberal Arts offers flexibility across a range of social sciences. The MSc Environmental Management gives students the opportunity to study from an environmental science, biodiversity and/or business management focus.
How to apply
1. Apply for the programme of study. You must first apply for the selected Master's programme at Bath Spa University. This is to ensure that you are eligible for entry onto the chosen course. If eligible you will be sent a conditional offer of admission by email.
You must meet all the academic conditions of offer by the scholarships deadline to be considered for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. This includes submission of certificates, transcripts, English Language requirement, passport copy etc.
2. Apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. Once you have received an offer letter to your chosen programme of study, then apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. Apply online using the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission's electronic application system (EAS).
Please note: any applications through the EAS system that does not hold an offer of admission will be automatically rejected.
The deadline for applications through the CSC EAS system is 29 March 2018 as per the CSC guidelines. No applications are accepted after this date.
How applications are judged
The applications are reviewed in the month after the deadline by the School of Education at Bath Spa University.
