Live at the heart of where it all happens. We house over 900 students in single, shared and en-suite study bedrooms in our Gardens and Lakeside residences. You’ll benefit from great facilities, instagram-worthy surroundings and a busy social calendar.

You’ll find everything you need on campus, including places to get hot and cold food, drinks and groceries. The Students' Union (SU) has a fully licensed bar and a shop where you can buy everyday essentials.

Lakeside

Lakeside accommodation is situated next to the Commons building with some rooms benefiting from a view of the Newton Park Campus Lake.

Single study room en-suite

Our Lakeside accommodation has en-suite rooms in Sydney. These have a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a modern fitted en-suite with shower, wash basin and toilet.

Shared study room non-en-suite

We have a limited number of twin rooms which have the same facilities as a single room, however, you’ll share your room with another student. This works out as our cheapest halls accommodation option.

Single study room non-en-suite

Hiscocks, Harington and Pope are traditional halls, with individual blocks of eight to twelve students connected by long corridors. You’ll share bathroom and toilet facilities between no more than five other students. The kitchen and dining area is also communal, shared with the fellow residents in your block.

Langton and Temple are set around small courtyards, creating a cosy community feel. Your room will include a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash basin. You'll share bathroom and toilet facilities with no more than four other residents and a kitchen and communal area between four to eight residents.

We have a small number of rooms in shared houses on Newton Park campus which have single and large single rooms. Both room types include a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash basin. You’ll share both bathroom facilities and a kitchen between 3 to 5 other residents.

Studio en-suite

The Lakeside en-suite studio flat comprises of a large room with a single bed, desk and wardrobe and kitchen facilities and has a separate bathroom/wet room. This is noted on the price list as Lakeside Accessible Flat.

Gardens

Situated near the Students’ Union and Walled Garden, the Gardens halls are the newest of our Newton Park campus halls. Your room will have a small double bed, a good-sized desk, fitted wardrobe, drawers, under bed storage and an en-suite bathroom.

Block accommodation

The gardens halls are made up of blocks of 10 study bedrooms and a communal kitchen (with the exception of Lime G and F blocks which contain eight bedrooms).

There are two options of room size and these are noted on the price list as Gardens en-suite, and Gardens ensuite large single.

The Gardens residences also has six fully accessible rooms which are allocated as a priority to students with access requirements.

Studios and Flat

We have 14 studios and one fully accessible flat with kitchen facilities, study space and en-suite facilities.
