Student Wellbeing Helpline – Bath Spa University

The Wellbeing Helpline is provided by Student Wellbeing Services to offer professional and free additional wellbeing support alongside our on-campus services

The Wellbeing Helpline is a confidential service to give Bath Spa University students immediate access to advice and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Students can speak with a trained practitioner about a range of subjects including stress and anxiety, debt, education pressures, low mood, relationships, legal queries or anything else you feel is impacting on your mental health and wellbeing.

The Wellbeing Helpline is delivered by an external partner, Endsleigh Health Assured on behalf of Student Wellbeing Services, who oversee and monitor the quality of the service provided to Bath Spa students.

What support is available?

The Wellbeing Helpline is a free, confidential, in the moment support service.

The service is available 24/7, 365 days a year and covers topics including (but not limited to):

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Financial issues
  • Loss and grief
  • Educational worries
  • Relationship problems
  • Substance abuse issues
How do I get started?

You can access the service through a confidential, freephone telephone line, an online chat function through the platform or by requesting a call back.

How do I use the app?

Search for Wisdom in your Google Play or Apple Store. Once you have downloaded the app, you will need the code MHA173635 to get access. 

What about privacy?

The Helpline is confidential. In order to provide the best service, however, advisors will ask for a few details. They'll need your name, address, contact number and date of birth. They'll also ask if its ok to leave a voicemail or send you an SMS - its fine to say no to these. Health Assured treat your data with total confidence. All employees are bound by ethical and legal frameworks and the service is ISO27001 accredited. 

Health Assured provide a confidential service. They won't contact your College or University when you call the Helpline. However, if it is deemed that you are an immediate risk to yourself or others, we may require to inform the Emergency Services and your university.
