Kay Davies

Personal statement

Kay Davies is the Academic Tutor for History, having joined the Department in 2019, following her role within a Bristol SCITT and at UWE. As an experienced History practitioner and Specialist Leader in Education, she aims to develop History teachers, who can actively engage learners, and work to develop history curriculums that include hidden narratives, meaningful stories and big picture thinking. Working closely within a national professional community of History Educators, Kay connects current practice and up to date research within Bath Spa’s ITE History curriculum.
