Royal United Hospitals
The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust put people at the heart of what they do, striving to create an environment where everyone matters.
Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust (RUH) provide a wide range of services including medicine and surgery, services for women and children, accident and emergency services, and diagnostic and clinical support services.
Their new Dyson Cancer Centre brings together many of the RUH's cancer services under one roof to provide a cancer services hub for over 500,000 people in the South West. The centre includes the RUH's oncology, chemotherapy and radiotherapy services, a 22-bed inpatient ward, a dedicated pharmacy, research team and nuclear medicine and physics teams.
They also work closely with other health and care organisations as members of the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board. The RUH strives to improve the health and wellbeing of people in the community by working together to build one of the healthiest places to live and work.
Partnership
Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust has joined forces with the University of Bath, Bath & North East Somerset Council and Bath Spa University to sign the Future Ambition Civic Agreement to work more closely together for the benefit of their home region.
The agreement commits the four institutions to collaborate and address key challenges and opportunities for the region to help its communities thrive, as well as learning from each other to continuously improve how they operate. The agreement partners will work closely with other institutions, organisations and communities within Bath and North East Somerset to help fulfil the area’s ambitions.
