We are a knowledge exchange group bringing together industry practitioners, academics and students who use immersive technologies
Each Artswork Media Roundtable includes a guest speaker talk, a group discussion and an opportunity for you to receive direct feedback on questions you may have using immersive technologies in your own practice.
Our first Artswork Media Roundtable on 9th May from 2-4PM will focus on engaging audiences.
Guest speaker Barney Heywood from Stand + Stare will be sharing his interactive designs for clients including Dreadnought South West, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Carnegie Hall.
Our group discussion will examine barriers, which may exist for audiences engaging in a show or piece that uses immersive technologies. Finally, we will share best practices on how to overcome such challenges to enhance audience engagement.
On 23rd May from 2-4PM, our Artswork Media Roundtable discussion will venture behind the scenes.
We will explore the delicate balance of creative vision and practical feasibility when designing immersive technological solutions.
Guest speaker Sharon Clark, Creative Director of Raucous, will be sharing her experiences of creating immersive theatre.
Free entry includes tea, coffee and all important cake.
Please register to attend via Eventbrite for each session:
