NSS – Bath Spa University

National Student Survey

We value your feedback here at Bath Spa.

The National Student Survey (NSS)

The NSS is an annual UK-wide survey of final year undergraduates that provides valuable information from our students about their course and their experience at Bath Spa University. The more Bath Spa University students who participate, the better and more useful the data.

Aimed at final year students, the NSS asks a range of questions about your course experience including teaching quality, learning resources and student voice.

Whether your time at Bath Spa University has been great, or you think some aspects of it could have been better, this is a chance to give your honest views about your experiences and about your course.

Your feedback counts. When students respond to the NSS, we listen.

Thanks to the responses from students like you, we have made improvements to our study support through the academic advisor programme, upgraded learning resources (IT, Wi-fi, software and library access on our campuses) and integrated 24-hour student feedback and voice through the online platform Unitu.

You’re up... The National Student Survey 2023 is now open!

The National Student Survey (NSS) 2023 is now open at Bath Spa University.

We look forward to hearing from our final year students about their higher education experience by taking part in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2023.

Students who are eligible will be emailed by Ipsos during January 2023 with an invite to take part in the survey.

Take the survey

For each student who participates in 2023, the University will donate monies split equally between the charities Off the RecordBath Foodbank and Voices, chosen by the Students’ Union.

Why take the NSS? Help us and the future you

The NSS is a vital source of invaluable feedback for the University. It helps us to improve the experience for future students, and also provides essential official data for prospective students who are considering higher education.

The data is made public to help inform student choice on the Discover Uni undergraduate course search; anyone considering higher education in the UK can find out what our students thought about each of our courses to help them decide what to study and where.

Follow your fellow students – they gave their views and gave to charity

Last year Bath Spa University students raised a total of £2,250 for three local charities:

This year we'd like to donate as much as possible, so thank you in advance for taking part in the NSS.
