Portfolio guidance 

If you are joining any of our Art and Design or Music and Performance courses, you may need to submit a portfolio of your work with your application.

Check the pages below to see if your chosen course requires one, and what it should contain. 

Student funding

If you have already applied for student finance but are going through clearing, chances are you will need to let Student Funding England know that your details have changed. We recommend you do this as soon as possible, as delay could affect the amount of student finance you can get.

Updating your details couldn’t be easier. Simply log in to your student finance account and go to Your Account > Change Your Application > University/College Course.

If you haven’t applied for student finance yet, you need to apply now. The sooner you apply, the sooner your application will be dealt with, maximising your chance to have all the money available to you at the start of your course.

There’s lots of support available. The dedicated Student Finance Zone on The Student Room has helpful tools and guidance to walk you through what you need to do and when to do it.
