Your questions answered

What's an Offer Holder Day?

Offer Holder Days are a great way to learn more about student life, meet course leaders and explore our facilities.

At an offer holder event you’ll have the opportunity to visit the University and explore your chosen course in detail. You’ll get to meet your future classmates and tutors, chat to current students, and tour the key facilities you’ll use during your time at Bath Spa.

How are Offer Holder Days different from Open Days?

Open Days introduce you to what university life can offer in terms of expertise, facilities and location – they’re a great way to help you decide where to apply.

Offer Holder Days are more tailored to you. They cover the kinds of things you’ll want to know once you’ve received an offer and can help you make your firm choice.

On an Offer Holder Day you can:

  • Learn about your chosen course
  • Explore our campuses and facilities
  • Meet your tutors
  • Talk to current students and your future classmates
  • Find out about student life
  • Explore our student accommodation
Will I be invited? How will I find out?

As Offer Holder Days are tailored events, attendance is by invitation only. Students with a conditional or unconditional offer (offer holders) will be invited by email.

We'll email you via your UCAS registered email address, so keep an eye on this for updates. We'll also call you on your UCAS registered phone number and send you an SMS to the same number.

Will I learn about student life?

Yes – our Student Ambassadors will be on-hand to answer your questions about Bath Spa and your chosen course. You’ll also be able to explore our student accommodation and attend talks on topics such as:

Are Offer Holder Days compulsory?

Offer holder events aren’t compulsory. They’re designed to give you more information on your chosen university and course, to help you make your firm choice. If you can't attend one of our Offer Holder Days, don’t worry. You can still book a guided virtual or in-person tour.

Which subject areas are covered?

If you've applied for a course that requires a portfolio viewing or an audition, you won't be invited to an Offer Holder Day.

Our courses in Art, Design and Performance are known as 'interviewing courses', and if you've applied to one of these, you'll get the opportunity to explore our campuses and facilities, as well as meet your tutors, at your audition or interview.

This is your opportunity to show us what you can do by way of a performance or portfolio, and it's also your chance to learn more about what Bath Spa has to offer. You can also book a guided campus tour and explore Bath Spa virtually.
