Space Place Practice Network – Bath Spa University

Bringing together an international group of artists to generate dialogue and develop projects informed by a shared interest in complex notions of space, place, and artistic research.

The Space Place Practice Network is a research collective where visual artists and multi-disciplinary artist researchers meet to engage with issues of space and place. Its dimensions are defined through interaction and critical discourse which act as points of departure for individual practice and collaborative projects.

Together we challenge and explore the interstices between embodied practice and theoretical enquiry, where there are no hierarchical distinctions between making, thinking, and doing. Our expanded practice is expressed in image, word, and action.
