British Dyslexia Association (BDA) approved course

This course is approved by the BDA, and can enable you to apply for:

• ATS (Approved Teacher Status) / APS (Approved Practitioner Status)
• AMBDA / APC

During the program, you will be provided with a professional practice mentor who will support you in your work towards ATS/APS and AMBDA. This mentor support is covered by your tuition fee.

DBS (if required)

As you're already working in a school, you should be fully DBS checked. If not, you must complete this through BSU before you can go on placement. DBS checks will incur a cost.
