The Library provides 350,000 e-books and more than 30,000 academic e-journals in addition to printed books, journals, music scores and DVDs.
Other on-site facilities include bookable study spaces, quiet zones, computers, photocopiers, printers and scanners.

Dedicated study areas
We provide a mix of study spaces to suit your learning styles. Choose between quiet and group study areas, drop-in and bookable study desks, spaces with calming views of the fields and hills, bookable rooms for group work, and comfortable sofas for relaxing with a good book.
Subject Librarians
Each School of Study has a dedicated Subject Librarian. Your Subject Librarian can help you to develop your research skills and highlight resources that are good for your course throughout your time at BSU. You can also book a 1:1 session with them.
Online library resources
The Library subscribes to over a hundred premium online services including journal archives, streaming video services, image and newspaper databases.
Research repositories
Research from across the University’s vast array of subjects is curated and showcased in our two research repositories, ResearchSPAce and BathSPAdata.
