Meet the Go From Zero Funding Awardees
Friday, 29 May, 2026Bath Spa University’s Careers and Employability Team has announced the awardees of this year's Go From Zero funding.
In early March, awardees were celebrated at a reception at Somer. In addition to drinks and networking, there was a panel of entrepreneurs discussing the ups and downs of running their businesses.
The reception brought together students and graduates at the very start of their entrepreneurial journeys. Guests had the opportunity to meet the awardees, hear about their ideas, and celebrate these early steps into entrepreneurship.
This year's awardees have secured grants ranging from £500 to £5,000 and will receive a programme of workshops and one-to-one coaching to help develop and launch their business ventures. The first two workshops were held in March and May and covered topics including customer profiles, value proposition, pricing, and how to register your business.

On 12 May, businesses were showcased in the Commons Atrium, with stalls selling products, educating about services, displaying multimedia examples of their work. Part showcase, part celebration, part small business market - all BSU innovative and entrepreneurial drive.
