In 2016, during her exchange year at Bath Spa, Anika was awarded the Sara Hunt Award which recognises the most promising short story by a second-year undergraduate student.

Anika is an agented (and soon to be published!) children's writer who has been invited to literary events such as the Winchester Writers' Festival and Penguin's WriteNow. Additionally, Anika was invited to attend the International Congress of Youth Voices in August 2018, which gathered 100 young writers and activists from around the world.

In Sweden, Anika has made television and radio appearances, speaking about the impact writing has had on her life, her work with the non-profit Berättarministeriet (The Ministry of Storytelling), and what she hopes to achieve with her own writing. She has also written opinion pieces for Scandinavia's largest financial paper, Dagens Industri.
