Personal statement
Annalie Grainger has more than fifteen years’ worth of experience in children’s publishing, most recently as Editorial Director (Fiction) at Walker Books.
She has an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London, and is the author of two thrillers for young adults, In your Lights and Captive. Captive was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award for best debut novel. It was also selected as one of The Telegraph’s best YA books of the year.
Annalie has a particular interest in thrillers, mysteries and anything supernatural.
