Head of the Bath School of Art and Design then academic consultant with responsibility for reopening Corsham Court for University use.

Previous academic roles include work at Cardiff College of Art, Royal College of Art, Bretton Hall University of Leeds and International Society for Education in Art and Design.

Research work continues as Advisor to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and founder of the Art Education National Archive.
