Stephen Moss

Personal statement

Stephen is a nature writer and broadcaster. He has published over thirty non-fiction books on birds and wildlife and is a regular contributor to radio, newspapers and magazines.

He was shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize for Outdoor Writing in 2017. His career in the BBC Natural History involved producing the original series of Springwatch.

Stephen led the highly successful MA in Nature and Travel Writing at Bath Spa University for several years and maintains his contact with the University as a Visiting Research Fellow.
