In-Person Enrolment Sessions

Most new students and all international students are required to enrol in-person as a final step in the registration process.

Please be aware that the date and time of your in-person enrolment session depends on your course and student status - find your session below.  Remember to bring photo ID.

About in-person enrolment

Am I required to attend an in-person enrolment session?

Once you've successfully completed online registration, as a final step you may be required to enrol in-person. The section below outlines who is required to attend an in-person enrolment session, and when and where it will take place.

At your in-person enrolment session, we'll check to ensure that you have completed all steps in the online registration process, and we'll verify your identity and nationality.

What do I need to bring?

  • All students: please bring proof of identification (government-issued photo identification preferred, e.g. passport or driving licence).

  • International students: you're additionally required to provide evidence of your right to study in the UK. Please ensure you bring the following to your registration / enrolment session:
    • Passport
    • Visa / BRP
    • If you are studying on a Tier 4 visa, your original qualifications listed on your CAS (even if you were not required to submit this with your visa application) and any additional documents specified on your CAS.
    • Note: If you applied for a Tier 4 visa overseas and used the Alternative Collection Location (ACL) code for Bath Spa in your application, then your BRP will be delivered to us. Please have ready your passport with your Entry Clearance vignette (sticker) and your decision letter from UK Visas and Immigration. If your BRP has arrived, you will be able to collect it during enrolment.
    • If you're unsure what to bring, please contact visacompliance@bathspa.ac.uk.

  • PGCE and Teacher Training students: the Admissions team or your course team will be in touch regarding any additional checks or documents that need to be in hand for your in-person enrolment session.

  • PhD students: you're additionally required to bring original documents of your highest academic qualification to the Corsham Court reception desk.

How do I get my Bath Spa student ID card?

  • New students: if you've completed online registration well in advance of your course start date, you should be able to pick up your student ID card at your in-person enrolment session, or at your course induction session.

  • Offsite students: if you're a part-time student, distance learner, on a placement or exchange programme, or if your course is not taught at a Bath Spa campus, it is possible to get your student ID card remotely. Please email mycourse@bathspa.ac.uk for details, quoting your six-digit student ID number.

  • Returning students: your student ID card can be used year after year. If your course end date has changed, or if your card has been lost / stolen or is damaged / faulty, a replacement ID card can be ordered from the Bath Spa AppHub
