BATH SPA UNIVERSITY PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS  

These terms and conditions apply to the opportunity to be offered to sixth form students to complete an online questionnaire in return for a £10 Amazon voucher (the “Promotion”).

By completing and submitting a questionnaire in accordance with the terms and conditions below, the Entrant confirms that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. For help with entries, please contact the web team at web@bathspa.ac.uk.

Eligibility

  1. Save as set out below, the Promotion is open to sixth form students, who are: (a) enrolled at Torquay Grammar School Sixth Form; (b) a UK resident; and (c) aged 16 years or over (“Eligible Students”). Bath Spa University reserves the right to require that a parent or guardian of the Eligible Student confirms that they agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and will accept any voucher on behalf of their under 18-year-old.
  2. Employees of Bath Spa University and their immediate families may not enter the Promotion.

Promotion

  1. Eligible Students may take part in the Promotion by completing and submitting the questionnaire in accordance with these terms and conditions.

How to Enter the Promotion 

  1. Only one entry per Eligible Student is permitted and no person may enter as part of a syndicate. To be entered into the Promotion, the Entrant must provide a genuine College email address that is personal to them, valid and accessible. In the event that this is not provided or is incorrect, the entry may be considered incomplete and therefore Bath Spa University reserves the right to invalidate the entry for the purposes of the Promotion. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
  2. In entering the Promotion, the Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so and to claim their voucher for completing the online questionnaire. Bath Spa University may require the Entrant to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Promotion.
  3. The opening date for entries is 9.00am on Thursday 11 June 2026 . The closing date of the Promotion is the earlier of 5.00pm on Sunday 14 June and the receipt by Bath Spa University of the 60th valid entry to the Promotion. Bath Spa University will close the entries on the website at which point the Promotion will be closed. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

Voucher

  1. To reflect the importance we place on the assistance with our questionnaire, Entrants will be offered a £10 Amazon Voucher as a thank you for completing the questionnaire.
  2. In order to claim the voucher, Entrants must complete the questionnaire in full. Entrants should then receive an email with their e-voucher within [30] working days.
  3. The voucher is non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
  4. If any Entrant has a problem receiving or redeeming their e-voucher or has any questions, please contact web@bathspa.ac.uk.

Limitation of Liability 

  1. Bath Spa University accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  2. Insofar as is permitted by law, Bath Spa University its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the voucher except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. The Entrant’s statutory rights are not affected.
  3. The decision of Bath Spa University regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Personal Data 

  1. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed in accordance with these terms and conditions and Bath Spa University’s privacy notice (which may be amended from time to time), [link to Privacy Notice].
  2. The Entrant agrees and acknowledges that they are under no obligation to provide their email address as above but if they fail to do so Bath Spa University may not be able to administer the Entrant’s entry to the Promotion.

Miscellaneous 

  1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, BSU may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude the Entrant from participating in the Promotion. 
  2. BSU reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. 
  3. All disputes or complaints relating to the Promotion should be referred to Bath Spa University via web@bathspa.ac.uk. All correspondence should contain the details of this Promotion and the nature of the complaint.
  4. These terms and conditions and the Promotion are governed by English law. In addition, the Entrant submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions: 

“Bath Spa University” means Bath Spa University an exempt charity and higher education corporation, whose principal place of business is at Newton Park, Newton St Loe, Bath BA2 9BN, United Kingdom.

“Entrant” means an Eligible Student, who has submitted an entry to the Promotion, in accordance with these terms and conditions.
