Dashe Roberts

Personal statement

Dashe Roberts is an Associate Lecturer in Creative Writing for the MA in Writing for Young People. An American now living in London, she is the author of the four-book Sticky Pines middle grade sci-fi series and is currently working on several new book projects.

Dashe specialises in character development and narrative structure, and has a special interest in horror and genre fiction for young people.

Dashe has an academic and professional background in film and theatre, and holds an honours degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Child Development from the University of California, Berkeley. She received a Master's degree in Children's Literature from Goldsmiths, University of London.
