We celebrated LGBT+ History Month in February 2022 with an art showcase and social events for our staff and students, as well as a number of events run in collaboration with the Students' Union and local organisations.

The Students' Union hosted an LGBT+ student mixer with pronoun badge making to welcome students back to campus.

The Street, Locksbrook Campus
We shared the amazing work of our own Bath Spa LGBT+ community at this exhibition at Locksbrook Campus. Exploring personal and social themes, this multimedia collection showcased the artists' own connections to the LGBT+ History Month theme of 'Politics in Art'.

Concluding this year's celebrations, Bath Spa and the University of Bath invited award-winning activist, artist and author Fox Fisher to talk about LGBT+ education, art, politics and the importance of LGBTQ+ storytelling in the media.

Bristol Museums explored the story of a remarkable gay couple and the museum they founded – the American Museum and Gardens in Bath.

University of Bath's Dr Luke Fletcher presented his research on trans inclusion in the workplace.
We've just published our updated Trans and Non-Binary Inclusion Policy, as well new information pages for students and staff (staff login required).
We also have ID badge pronoun stickers available to collect from the Student Hub, Main House reception and Newton Park library!
