Explore the world of textile print with hands-on support during our six-week Beginner’s Textile Printing course. You’ll explore both traditional and modern techniques to create innovative textile prints that are perfect for fashion, interiors, and art.

You'll be provided with an immersive learning experience, guided by our textile print expert. You'll discover the screen-printing process from start to finish with additional print finishing techniques, all within a collaborative, fun and supportive environment.

Whether you have a textile background or not, you're welcome on this course, no experience required.

This course will take place at Locksbrook Campus, Bath, BA1 3EL.

  • Wednesday 17 September for six weeks, Wednesdays 6pm – 8:30pm

This course costs £225 per person.

This course may get messy, so please wear old clothes.

Meet the team

Simon Cooper

With almost 30 years' experience in textile printing, Simon has been a staple member of the Bath Spa University’s Bath School of Art, Film and Media, supporting thousands of textile students over the years to realise their potential. 

Katie Furzer

Katie works as a Textiles Designer selling work to high-end fashion houses and Embroidery Technician at Bath Spa University, using her industry experience to inspire students.  

In her work she mixes embroidery with other processes such as print and laser cutting. After working in the fashion industry for 20+ years as a commercial designer, Katie's enjoys using her experience in garment design, embroidery and embellishment to create unique pieces with digital and hand rendered outputs.
