Learn to create technical and experimental Cyanotypes, using everyday objects and photographic negatives to produce unique prints on paper and fabric.

  • Watch demonstrations of more complicated Cyanotype processes and then experiment with these techniques using your own or provided materials.
  • Explore the printing process in a supportive and experimental environment.
  • Set up, make and develop your own prints to bring home afterwards.

In this Extending Cyanotypes workshop you’ll explore more complicated cyanotype processes, make experimental ‘wet’ Cyanotypes or continue with your own personal projects. In the creative and supportive environment of a small group, you can watch the process being done, handle several examples and then try the processes for yourself.

At the end of the course you’ll leave with a series of experimental prints.

Our Extending Cyanotypes workshop is designed so everyone can participate at whatever level suits them.
