About the event

Are you working to reduce social isolation in Bath and North East Somerset? Whether you're a creative practitioner, researcher, charity worker, social entrepreneur, or simply passionate about building a more connected community - Connect! is for you. 

Over delicious food from Bath Community Kitchen (who are doing amazing work alleviating social isolation through communal workshops and meals) we’ll explore the challenges and opportunities around social isolation, and celebrate the inspiring work happening across our region. 

What to expect: 

  • A long-table lunch with like-minded people 
  • Opportunities to share your work and hear about others’ 
  • Space to connect across sectors and disciplines 
  • A friendly, informal atmosphere 

Connect! is a collaborative event run by Bath Spa University and the University of Bath, bringing together creatives, researchers, voluntary sector staff, social enterprises, and community members. It’s a space to step outside our bubbles, meet new people, and explore the issues that matter most.
