Creativity comes alive after hours at our Locksbrook Campus.

Bath Spa University is opening its iconic Locksbrook Campus for Locksbrook Lates – a new after-hours series celebrating creativity, community, and connection. The free events invite students, staff, alumni and the wider public to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Locksbrook Campus in a relaxed, social setting.

The series launches on 6 November 2025 with an evening of music, exhibitions, talks and poetry from 5-8pm. The bar will open at 4.30pm.

  • Reimagining Materials: A panel discussion exploring innovative and sustainable materials, and how they could shape the future. Hear diverse perspectives, spark your own ideas and be part of conversations that matter.  
  • Recovery by Fiona Haines: An exhibition and poetry reading. Recovery will consist of a series of images of a small recovery truck taken over a two-year period during the pandemic. The exhibition will also feature the installation of the small recovery vehicle situated in the centre of the Gallery.
  • Lost Property by Lucy Gundry: The opening of an exhibition that forms part of practiced-based fashion research exploring the notion of belonging in how we experience, collect, archive and exhibit our wearing relationships. 

Entry is free and open to all, including the general public.

Locksbrook Lates is about opening up the campus to our creative community and the city – giving people a chance to connect, collaborate and celebrate creativity in all its forms. It’s a space where ideas, art, and people come together.

Each session will spotlight different themes, from contemporary making and sustainable design to wellbeing and sound.
