Personal statement
Originally educated in graphic design and visual communication, Benjamin worked as a creative director and producer in fashion and publishing before training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School as a performance designer. He subsequently developed specialist skills as a costume graphic artist and concept artist in film and TV, and employs an interdisciplinary approach to engagement and storytelling.
His portfolio spans advertising, marketing, fashion, film, theatre, and dance.
As an educator, Benjamin is passionate about the creative facilitation of learning, with a strong emphasis on critical engagement. His methodology centers on developing cognitive skills, equipping students to adapt to the evolving demands of the creative industries and contemporary society.
