Personal statement
Janine is a mature student, studying towards a degree in Educational Psychology with the aim of progression to PGCE and employment as a teacher in the field of special education.
Janine's employment background is a nursery practitioner within frameworks of 'Every Child Matters' and inclusion with experience in a range of special education settings with age range from 5 years to 25 years. Janine is passionate in enabling learners to reach their full potential.
Janine has also been an active member of her children's school Parent and Teachers Association, with roles held as Vice-Chair and Chair at a special needs school. Janine has also held the role of a Health and Safety Representative, liaising with the management team to create a safe environment.
Janine's hobbies include drawing, painting, pétanque and reading novels.
