Personal statement

Jess is the Project Co-ordinator for the Careers and Employability service, coordinating projects to support students to develop their employability skills. These programs currently include MentorMe and Bath Spa Empowers. 

She also works alongside several other members of the team to design and create content for My Career, ensuring high-quality learning opportunities and support for BSU students.  

Jess has worked within the education sector since graduating from University in 2014. Prior to this role working at Bath Spa, Jess worked in teaching for 10 years. Her roles included Classroom Teacher in a primary setting, Phase Leader and Assistant Head.

Academic qualifications

  • BA (Hons) Drama with Creative Writing (First Class), University of the West of England  
  • PGCE, Bath Spa University
