Personal statement

Laura oversees the operational aspects of educational partnerships, liaising with both internal colleagues and external partners. She supports the management of the University’s educational partnerships and associated programmes, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the University’s Educational Partnerships Strategy. 

Before her current position, Laura held key roles at the University as the Student Fees Officer and the Assessments and Progression Partnership Officer, where she gained invaluable experience in student services and partnership management. In her role as Fees Officer, she developed a deep understanding of both UK and international funding systems, ensuring students were well supported and that funding processes operated smoothly across multiple jurisdictions. 

Prior to joining Bath Spa, Laura worked as a Spanish-qualified lawyer and holds a Postgraduate qualification in Law. She brings a strong legal and analytical background to her work. Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and French, she is skilled at building effective cross-cultural partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
