Personal statement
Working as part of the Careers and Employability team, Nicola delivers high quality enterprise and entrepreneurship coaching, information, advice and guidance to students and recent graduates of Bath Spa University, BSU London and relevant partner institutions. This coaching supports students and recent graduates to gain experience, understand their skills and attributes and improve confidence in ways that help lead to positive graduate outcomes.
She works with the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Manager to build and implement enterprise and entrepreneurship focussed activities for students and recent graduates. She works with colleagues to co-design a framework for academics to embed meaningful enterprise and entrepreneurship education within the curriculum. She supports the School Employability Partners to work in partnership with academic schools by developing and delivering in-curriculum lectures and workshops and liaising, where required, with course leaders, module leaders and/or other academic colleagues.
Nicola provides high quality and timely information, advice and guidance through a range of mechanisms to students of Bath Spa, Bath Spa London and Partner institutions, enabling them to successfully navigate their career development journey.
She's an advocate for enterprise and entrepreneurship education, championing the importance of these experiences, competencies and attributes to enable employability and graduate success and works across the Careers and Employability team to ensure enterprise and entrepreneurship initiatives are developed, implemented and communicated effectively both internally and externally to all students, graduates, academics and partners.
In addition to her role at Bath Spa University Nicola has been the Director of her consultancy, NT Creative Arts since 2011 and Lecturer, MA Creative & Cultural Entrepreneurship, Goldsmiths, University of London since 2014.
