Personal statement

As Sustainability Manager, Ripley oversees the strategic planning and implementation of sustainability initiatives that aim to improve resource efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint. She's involved with a great many of BSU's other teams and functions, as sustainability impacts on all aspects and functions across the University. 

Ripley's main responsibilities include ensuring compliance with ISO14001 and ISO50001, and keeping the University's Carbon Reduction Management Plan and Sustainability Strategy updated and effective, ensuring key actions and goals are being delivered.

Other responsibilities include leading the University's approach to carbon reduction, compliance with sector wide sustainability guidance, implementation of new initiatives, supporting various teams in their own sustainability projects, and ensuring BSU is continually moving toward improving sustainability across all activities.
