Personal statement

Rocco provides academic leadership across programme delivery, coordinating teaching teams, assessment processes and quality activity (briefs, marking guidance, standardisation/moderation and boards-related requirements) to ensure a consistent and fair student experience. He also works closely with professional services to address operational and digital/VLE matters that affect delivery and progression.

Rocco teaches across undergraduate and foundation levels and brings international postgraduate experience teaching the MBA/Executive MBA at SBS Swiss Business School in Dubai. He has also taught Business and Management at the Florence University of the Arts (American University of Florence), delivering applied teaching and assessment in an international classroom environment.

His work is strongly industry-informed, drawing on senior HR leadership, corporate training and consultancy experience to shape practice-based learning, employability, leadership development and soft-skills development. His professional interests include technology-enhanced education and the responsible use of generative AI in learning and assessment.
