Personal statement
Tiffany is the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Manager within the Careers and Employability Team. She leads a team of two coaches who provide support to students and graduates who are interested in starting or growing an enterprise. Tiffany’s team runs several awards for students and graduates looking for funding to support their businesses’ launch or growth. She's especially keen to support students and graduates who are at the ideation stage of business development and believes that much can be learned from exploring an idea even if never makes it to launch.
Tiffany also works closely with the School Employability Partners to find and support opportunities for embedding enterprise education within the curriculum. The goal of this work is to ensure that all BSU students graduate having some understanding of enterprise skills and how they might develop these skills in relation to their own work.
Prior to working at BSU, Tiffany worked in a high-growth tech startup based in California where she got to experience firsthand the excitement as well as the growing pains that occur when a company grows from 50 to 300+ employees over the course of a few years. She's happy to talk to students who are interested in knowing more about what it’s like to work in a startup environment. Before her startup role, Tiffany was a small business owner, having founded a coworking space with on-site preschool that was featured in the New York Times.
