Hang in there

Hang in there is a set of three motivational posters inspired by early internet memes and vintage cartoon promotions. Each poster uses playful statements to invite reflection on our abilities, communities, and differences – turning traditional motivational posters on their head.

Will You Go?

Will You Go? is a non-linear narrative web game about exploring creative pathways. Drawing inspiration from online Alternate Reality Games and Choose Your Own Adventure stories, the game guides you through a series of encounters that create a unique journey through the ‘art world.’ Along the way, you’ll experience memories, influences, and moments that shape your own abstract creative adventure.

  • Will You Go? online game has been specifically developed for young people 13+.

About Vesper Cain

Vesper Cain is an autistic artist from the North West of England. Playing with the idea of excess and overstimulation, Vesper’s work acts as a response to the constant overproduction and overconsumption of media, data or product.

Heavily influenced by advertising, cultural shifts and the rise of technology, they explore interaction and connection between ourselves and the online. Their approach to making is through an energy limiting, disability led lens, therefore the idea of capacity, labour, wellness and production also feeds the work.

Alongside their practice, Vesper co-runs monthly NAIM (Neurodivergent Artist Network) sessions at Spike Island as well as being a co-founder for the online, accessible arts collective, Poolnet (@poolnet.collective).
