Waterside Court and Charlton Court are managed by Unite Students, so the tenancy agreement you will be asked to sign is a contractual arrangement between yourself and Unite Students.
Unite Students are a UK-wide chain of purpose-built student accommodation, a third-party provider. Waterside Court and Charlton Court are what's known as "nomination properties." This means that you apply to live in them via the University's application process but your tenancy agreement is with the third-party provider. You pay your rent directly to Unite, not the University.
The University is responsible for allocating Bath Spa University students into the rooms within these buildings. The day-to-day management of the buildings and the tenancy agreement terms and conditions are all managed directly by Unite Students. Please take the time to read the terms and conditions of your tenancy agreement before your sign it, as Bath Spa University is unable to change any of the conditions of Unite Student's tenancy agreement.
