Enrolment arrangements
You'll need to complete enrolment at the beginning of your course and at the point of progression to your next level of study.
If you've completed your online registration, you'll now need to finalise your enrolment.
About enrolment
You'll receive an email letting you know when online registration has opened for your course. Once you've completed your online registration, you'll need to follow the instructions below to complete your enrolment.
The majority of BSU and partner students will be able to enrol online. Non-international students will not be required to attend and in-person enrolment session.
If you are an international student, you will be directly notified if you are required to attend an in-person enrolment session. This will be clearly stated in Step 3 of the online registration portal. If you have been invited to attend an in-person enrolment session, you can check the upcoming dates and locations here.
Please note that when picking up your Bath Spa University ID card, you'll need to show proof of ID e.g. passport, driving licence, bank statement. ID cards will only be available for fully enrolled students.
You can collect your ID card from the campus where your course is based at the locations below. If you're on a combined course across different campuses, please pick up your ID card from Newton Park.
- Newton Park - Please go to The Vinery (the building behind the Students' Union) at least 24 hours after you have completed enrolment. The Vinery is open Monday-Friday 9.30am-4.30pm from Welcome Week (15 September)
- Locksbrook Road - ID cards can be collected directly from reception at Locksbrook Road
- Sion Hill - ID cards for PGCE students can be picked up from the security staff at Sion Hill. For all other courses, please collect your ID cards from Locksbrook.
- Bath Spa London - Your ID card will be posted to your place of study and it'll be distributed to you from there.
- Distance Learners - If you're a part-time student, distance learner, or on a placement or exchange programme, you can get your student ID card remotely. Please email studentidcards@bathspa.ac.uk for details, quoting your six-digit student ID number. If your course is not taught at a Bath Spa campus, your ID card will be sent to your partner institution for distribution.
- Partner Institution - If you're studying at a partner institution, your ID card will be posted to your place of study and it'll be distributed to you from there.
- Teach First - PGDE students will receive ID cards in the post. MA students can collect them from their teaching sessions.
- Returning students: Your student ID card will be valid for the length of your studies. If your course end date has changed, or if your card has been lost/stolen or is damaged/faulty, a replacement ID card can be ordered from the Bath Spa AppHub.
