Student Digital Learning Assistants (SDLAs)
Did you know that students can get help using digital tools for learning from other students?
The SDLAs ( Student Digital Learning Assistants) are available to provide you with friendly support and hints and tips on how to get started with all the software and tech you need for your learning at Bath Spa University.
Where can I find an SDLA?
During term time, our Student Digital Learning Assistants (SDLAs) are available in-person and online during weekdays between 10:00am - 2:00pm.
The SDLAs are based in:
- Newton Park Commons ground floor opposite the Café (Monday to Friday)
- Locksbrook Road on The Street (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
or book an appointment to meet with a SDLA either online or in-person.
You can spot them by their blue T-shirts!
What can an SDLA help with?
The SDLA team can help with:
- Ultra (the Virtual Learning Environment)
- Submitting assignments
- Working with Adobe tools such as Express
- Learning how to use Microsoft 365 apps including Word and Excel
- Organising your BSU email account
- Using generative AI
