Personal statement

Louisa Reid is the author of five books for young adults and one novel for adults. Her debut novels Black Heart Blue and Gloves Off were nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. She has been shortlisted for numerous children's book awards and prizes. She has written for The Times, The Bookseller, Vogue and The Irish Times.
