Course studied: BSc (Hons) Psychology
Graduating year: 2025

The best thing about my course was...

How expansive the course was as it encompassed a wide range of different modules from cognitive to forensic psychology.

This made the course engaging and hugely enjoyable as I learned knowledge and skills from a vast range of different subjects areas.

My favourite experience was...

Creating my own experiment for my dissertation and having people take part in it. I chose to look into how gender and sleep quality can impact reaction time and it was fascinating to put it into practice.

After being approved by the Bath Spa University’s Ethics Committee Board, I was able to gather participants to engage in my experiment.

I was excited to look through and analyse my data to see whether it supported my hypotheses. It was truly a captivating experience.

How did your course support your future career?

Considering I started my degree completely undecided in the direction I wanted my career to follow, engaging in this course allowed me to understand what each trajectory could entail.

This fuelled the development for a fascination in criminal and forensic psychology where I strive to study for a Master's degree in this subject area.

I chose to study at BSU because...

I was mesmerised about the nature surrounding the University’s campus such as the nature trail around the lake.
