Employability Strategy Shortlisted for National Target Jobs Award
Thursday, 21 March, 2024Bath Spa University has been shortlisted for the 'Best University Employability Strategy' award, recognising our transformative approach to employability.
The strategy, deeply rooted in creativity and innovation, focuses on delivering impactful employability and enterprise activities throughout the student journey and beyond.
Based on four priority areas: Curriculum, Skills, Work Experience and Graduate Support, and guided by STEP principles of Scalability, Targeting, Embedding and Personalisation, our strategy aims to deliver equitable and collaborative in and extracurricular activity which enables our talented students and graduates to acquire, apply and confidently articulate the skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex working world and thrive in their futures.
Nearly 100,000 votes were submitted across all award categories, with BSU nominated in the category that celebrates the achievements of higher education institutions in ensuring that their undergraduates are best equipped to achieve their potential when searching and applying for graduate roles and transitioning to employment.
Bath Spa University Careers and Employability Team has been the driving force behind developing the strategy and bringing it to life.

The award winners will be announced at a special ceremony on 11 April.
