MyWorld Scholarship
Up to £5,000 for home (UK) fee-paying students linked to the creative technologies industry.
Applications for the 2025/26 MyWorld Scholarship are now open.
The deadline for applications is 9am (BST) on Thursday 21 August 2025.
The MyWorld Scholarship supports home (UK) fee-paying students who are from underrepresented groups in higher education to access taught postgraduate study linked to the creative technologies industry.
Awards of up to £5,000 (pro-rata for the amount of credit they are studying) are available in 2025/26 and will be paid against the student’s tuition fees for a taught postgraduate degree programme as a fee reduction/waiver.
Successful applicants will need to be enrolled in a taught postgraduate programme (studying either part-time or full-time) at BSU. The course must be linked to the creative technologies industry.
Applications for 2025/26
The scholarship will only apply for 2025/26, irrespective of the duration of the course. Successful awardees already undertaking a two-year or three-year part-time postgraduate programme are welcome to re-apply for the scholarship in the second/third year of their study, but they will be assessed in the same way as everyone else applying in the 2025/26 academic year.
Any part-time postgraduate students studying their first year in 2025/26 should be aware that this is the last year that MyWorld Scholarships will be awarded. Therefore, the scheme will not be available to apply for in the second or third year of their part-time programme.
