Dynamic and diverse speakers will share their thoughts and experiences of Bath Spa's MA Creative Writing course, and talk about their careers after study.
Panel discussion
Authors talk about their writing careers and publication successes.
- Debut author: Karla Neblett
Her new novel The King of the Rabbits is due to be published at the end of March. - Established author: Nathan Filer
Nathan will talk about his multifaceted writing career. - Poet: Vik Shirley
Vik's new collection is due to be published by Hesterglock in March 2021. She is currently doing a PhD in Birmingham. - Host: Grace Palmer
MA graduate Grace has recently been a writing facilitator for Paper Nations on their Time to Write Programme and is set up as a supplier to the University through this work. She is currently a resident at The Studio and has just been successful in securing a role with Paper Nations as the editorial manager of the Transnational Journal.

Aki is the director of The Literary Consultancy and founder of the Rebecca Swift Foundation. - Live Literature: Alison Powell
Alison is the founder of Write Club and her novel was long listed for Mslexia and runner up for the Bridport New Novel prize. - Host: Emma Smith-Barton
Emma is a novelist. Her YA debut, The Million Pieces of Neena Gill was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2020, the Branford Boase Award and the Romantic Novelists’ Association Debut Romantic Novel Award. She is a mentor for write-mentor.com.
