Our BA (Hons) English Literature course is a large and popular programme with an excellent reputation.

We'll cover a diverse range of modules exploring books and writers from the sixteenth century to the present, finding your own specialty as you go.

Our English lecturers are all dynamic teachers and researchers in their field, often contributing to scholarly books, publications and conferences. 

We scored highly in the last Research Exercise Framework (REF), and some of our research was awarded world-leading rating.
