Garth Clark's WITNESS comes to Sion Hill

Internationally renowned ceramicist Garth Clark brings his unique lecture WITNESS to Bath Spa's Sion Hill Campus this month, as part of an international tour stopping in such places as New York, London, Amsterdam,  Paris, and Copenhagen.

Garth Clark remains the most influential and provocative voice in international ceramics after five decades in the field. Due to this longevity, Clark has taken part in a number of revolutionary moments in the ceramic arts since 1970. 

He is joint founder and Editor-in- Chief for the online ceramics bible cfile, and has published more than sixty books, the most recent being Mind Mud: The Conceptual Ceramics of Ai Weiwei and Lucio Fontana Ceramics.

Known for his wit, deep scholarship and entertaining speaking style, Garth Clark’s WITNESS fuses his own biography with the ceramics field history in the United States. Told in the style of a one person stage show, this lecture promises to be insightful, entertaining, and thought-provoking.
