Elbow Grease Magazine Launch
Thursday, 8 December, 2016After a successful crowdfunding campaign, a group of graduates are set to launch a stunning new magazine this week, dedicated to work.
Developed by Graphic Communication graduate Tom Sydenham, in collaboration with other graduates from across Bath Spa University, Elbow Grease was created in response to a lack of honest portrayals of entrepreneurialism, to offer an exploration of ‘work’ beyond the usual stories of smooth journeys to success.
The result is a magazine filled with compelling writing, expressive design and illustration, and input from all sorts of grafters including Spanish milliners, office surfers, prison stitchers and bin divers (visit Tom’s website to buy a copy).
The magazine officially launches with a party on Thursday 8 December at Ironworks Supply Co, in Bristol, where the first copies will be available and a big thank you extended to all those who supported the magazine in to being.
