Easter Bunny hops about Newton Park campus
Thursday, 13 April, 2017Bath Spa University’s Institute for Education organised a special Easter Trail for the children who attend the on-campus nursery, this week.
Starting at the nursery, children and their parents followed the trail and collected clues at key locations around campus which led them to the Temple next to the lake.
The children were surprised to see that the Easter Bunny was waiting in the Temple to read them a story and give them an Easter Egg! The Easter Bunny was none other than the Dean of the Institute for Education, Professor Kate Reynolds.
Jane Wakefield, whose son George attends the nursery said: “George had a wonderful time following the trail and was very pleased to get an egg from the Easter bunny.
“Oak Tree Day nursery is a special place and George is very happy there. The staff are all enthusiastic and dedicated, and the opportunity for George to explore the garden and wider campus is a wonderful thing.”
Oak Tree Day Nursery is split into two adjoining houses. One house provides care for children aged between six months and two years, and the other house provides care for children aged between two and five. The nursery offers a Forest School for the children to explore the beautiful grounds of the campus and they often go on listening walks and wildlife trails.
