Photography graduate crowdfunds her own travel publication
Friday, 8 December, 2017A Bath Spa University Photography graduate has developed her final year project into a travel and lifestyle magazine. Lucy Saunders who works as a freelance photographer and designer studied a BA in Photography at Bath Spa University. She is now crowdfunding to get her publication Flourish into print.
Lucy said: "Flourish aims to capture the unique experience of travelling and being in a particular place - the bright colours, the tastes we remember and the time spent thriving within a place. Flourish can act as a visual map for your mind, a great piece of reading material or an inspirng break over a morning coffee.
"It sets out to remind its readers that life is an experience and to capture those moments of the lives they cross paths with, the landscapes they gaze at, and to speculate on their next adventure."
Lucy's kickstarter crowdfunding campaign is already well on its way to the target of £2,000, the amount needed to print the first volume of Flourish. Rewards start at £10 to pre-order your own copy of volume one, which is based around Asia. If Lucy reaches her target, she will begin printing Flourish in April 2018.
