I AM: Contemporary Art Exhibition

Monday, 3 April, 2017

A collaborative exhibition by second year contemporary artists exploring what it means for them to be who they are, opens this week at Walcot Chapel.

Through their work, the artists have questioned who are they as artists, who are they as people, and what exactly makes them who they are.

The exhibition also invites guests to think about what makes them who they are, providing a space on the front of the invitation to fill in. Completed invitations will become of a collaborative piece of artwork on the opening night, and each visitor contributing a completed invitation to the piece will even earn a free drink.

The preview will offer night of self exploration, featuring artwork from painters, ceramists, jewellers, sculptures and illustrators,

There are also VIP hand screen printed Tote bags for the first 20 people to RSVP, containing Divine Chocolates, Miles Tea and some handmade items from the artists themselves.

Opening Night is Wednesday 5 April and features a bar, artist shop and music from 6.30pm.

Exhibition continues until Sunday 9 April.
