6:00 PM – 8:00 AM

The Commons Building, Newton Park Campus, Newton St Loe, Bath BA2 9BN

Are autonomous cars (also known as driverless cars) becoming a reality? How far away from are we from them?

The technology is indeed a reality - big manufacturers are testing the cars on roads. But how easily will consumers accept the concept?

In 1950 when Frank McNamara introduced the revolutionary idea of making payments with a plastic card, many were less than optimistic that this would catch on. Can we imagine autonomous cars becoming as widely accepted as credit cards?

Join us for an interactive session on the latest studies into how consumers perceive autonomous vehicles, hosted by Bath Business School and the Creative Business Network. This event is being produced in partnership with the Institute of Directors, South West.

Bath Business School looks to develop tomorrow’s business leaders and entrepreneurs. Positioned within the UK’s leading University for creativity, innovation and enterprise, we are passionate about providing real impetus for transforming knowledge into growth and development for the region.

The Creative Business Network aims to provide insights and specialist knowledge, along with access to our fantastic student talent, dynamic academic research, and an expanding business cluster across the south west.
