Matt Dicken – Bath Spa University

Personal statement

Matt is a lecturer in ethnomusicology and musicology at Bath Spa University, and also teaches classical guitar. His research interest is in Latin American music, specifically the music and culture of Paraguay.

Matt is a member of the British Forum for Ethnomusicology executive committee, developing the BFE Podcast Project in 2020. He studied the classical guitar with John Mills and currently works on a number of varied performance and recording projects.
